We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your father. Over the retirement years, we would keep in touch at the Christmas parties and the Sperry summer picnics. Bob always kept us up with his and his family's "doings." He was very fond and proud of his children and grandchildren. I worked with your dad both at the Great Neck plant and Mac field. Carolyn knew him at Mac field. He was never without a broad smile and a good story or joke to tell. Please extend our sympathy to your family and know that we share in your loss of a much admired and respected gentleman.
Our sincere condolences. Larry and Carolyn Ross.

I never forget every year everyone would get together at Uncle Bob's house for the annual family reunion. Diving off the diving board, sliding down the slide, everyone getting soaked when Raymond would slide down the slide. What a great time we all had. Uncle Bob and all the reunions will be missed for sure but we have the memories and we can never forget them. Oh ya one more thing that I always remembered is can someone tell me what ever happened to that huge mean turtle that lived in the bath tub in Uncle Bob's house. Well this is cousin Christopher ( Linda's oldest son ) saying we love you and we miss you Uncle Bob.

I'll miss you Uncle Bob. There never was anything but a huge grin on your face and a kind, supportive word. I remember the reunions too, way too much food and plenty of family. Did anyone else get raw feet from the bottom of the cement pool or was it just me? This page has been book marked, I know I'll come back again. Love, Kenny Fischer (Paulie Jr's son)

Uncle Bob had the patience of Job. He picked me up and cleaned me up after a bicycle accident at my uncle Hawley's. Many years have passed but I still have the memory of him taking the time to make me feel better.
Thanks for the memories Uncle Bob.

I will always remember we had our last dance at Linda's 25th party last year. When nobody else wanted to dance, you were always there to dance with. Thanks for the memories! Love, your sis in law, Ruth

Happy...that's what he will always be to me. A man who lived life on the brighter side. At Holiday times my world would be filled with memories of the years knowing him. I would receive in my mailbox the one Christmas card that always made my heart smile. The simplest things are what he gave me, and for most of us, those are the hardest to find in a person. I am fortunate. I wear a pair of earrings he gave me years ago almost daily. They're not fancy or expensive, but they represent his giving nature and who he was to me. Happy is now a star in the heavens. He will continue to shine his love upon you and I. Thank you for being a part of my life. All my love, Elizabeth

Great memories dating back to 1953 when Bob would come to Bristol, TN. Always we would have him to dinner rather than sit in a hotel room which at that time in Bristol was not all that great. After being transferred to AZ we kept in touch all through the years. After we both lost our spouses we met again and we enjoyed a wonderful friendship. I miss him.

Great web site I had a smile the whole time I was on. What a great way to remember UNCLE BOB. My memory is of being upstate at the old trailer and listening to the Symphony of Snores coming from the back bedrooms between Uncle Bob and My Father. The walls would actually sometimes shake it was like a battle through the night. Anyone who shared the living room floor with me knows what I am talking about. Scott
